Privacy notice
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is SW Property Management Services Ltd, acting as agent for the applicant. The company is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number ZB902613.
For any request about your data, whether a copy of it, a correction or its deletion, write to info@churchlanehomes.co.uk.
What is collected
If you send a comment through the form on this site, we collect your name, your address, your postcode, your comment, whether you have asked to be contacted, and the date and time you sent it. Your email address is collected only if you choose to give one.
The site also records each page view: the time, the page, the site you arrived from if your browser sends it, and the country your request came from if our hosting provider reports it. No cookies are used for this and no profile is built.
Your IP address is not stored. It is converted into a keyed hash, which is used only to spot when several comments come from one connection in quick succession.
What it is used for
To understand local views on the application, and to reply where you have asked for a reply.
The lawful basis is legitimate interests: the applicant's agent has an interest in understanding local views on a proposal that affects the area, and in being able to respond to people who ask a question. You can object to this at any time using the address above.
What may be shared with the council
A themed summary of what people have said may be provided to North Somerset Council.
Names, addresses and email addresses are not published in that summary, and comments are not reproduced in a form that would identify who wrote them.
Comments you make directly to North Somerset Council are a different matter entirely. Those are governed by the council's own privacy policy, they form part of the planning record, and they are normally published on the council's planning portal, usually including your name and address. Nothing on this page changes that.
Who else sees it
The applicant and the professional team working on the application. It is not sold, and it is not shared for marketing.
Feedback is emailed to us when it is submitted, using a third party email service, so that we see it promptly. That service processes the message on our behalf and does not use it for any other purpose.
How long it is kept
Comments and the details submitted with them are kept until the application is finally determined, and for 12 months after that.
Hashed IP addresses are deleted after 180 days. This happens automatically.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict how it is used, and to object to it being used at all.
Send any of those requests by email to info@churchlanehomes.co.uk, and not through the feedback form. That mailbox is monitored; the feedback form is read in batches and is not a reliable way to reach anyone quickly. Requests have a legal deadline attached, so they need the address that is watched.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
What this site sets
One cookie, named cl_csrf. It holds a random token that lets the server check a submitted form came from this site and not from somewhere else. It is deleted when it expires and holds nothing about you.
There is no Google Analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no third-party cookies of any kind.
This site also loads no third-party resources: the fonts, images and stylesheets are all served from this domain, and viewing a page makes no requests to any other domain. Nobody else learns that you visited.
A strictly necessary cookie of this sort is exempt from the consent requirement under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, which is why this site has no cookie banner. There is nothing to consent to.

What this site is
This site is information about a planning application. It is not an offer, it is not a contract, and it is not a guarantee that planning permission will be granted or that anything shown here will be built.
Comments sent through this site are read by the applicant's agent. They may or may not be incorporated into the application, and no undertaking is given that any particular point will be acted on.
North Somerset Council's planning portal is the authoritative record of this application. Where anything on this site differs from the portal, the portal is correct.
